JAMMU, June 11: Gandhi Nagar police arrested a person along with 6 grams heroin.
As per police sources, a team from Gandhi Nagar police station intercepted a person and during checking, recovered 6 grams heroin from his possession.
The accused identified as Naresh Kumar alias Gorkha, son of Lal Singh of Nai Basti was arrested on the spot.
A case under FIR Number 136/16 under Section 8/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Gandhi Nagar police station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Gandhi Nagar Inspector Bishnesh Kumar and assisted by ASI Om Parkash Sharma made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO South Sachin Gupta and SP South Shaazad Salaria.
