DODA, June 8: One person was killed while 5 others received injuries due to electric short circuit in a house at village Shan Goila of tehsil Kahara.
As per police sources, around 6 persons received injuries due to electric shock circuit in a house at village Shan Goila in tehsil Kahara this evening. The electric short circuit was the outcome of a fault in the transformer installed in the locality
All the injured persons were shifted to Primary Health Centre (PHC) Thathri, where doctors declared one of the injured persons as brought dead and two serious injured persons were referred to District Hospital Doda for advanced treatment.
The deceased has been identified as Fareed Ahmed, son of Mohammad Sikander Shan of village Shan Goila.
Concerned police had taken cognizance in this regard.
