SRINAGAR, Au 10: One died and six others were injured in different road accidents.
Police said an Auto load carrier bearing registration number JK01M/7087 turned turtle at Watlar near Town Hall, Lar, in Ganderbal resulting in on spot death of Jaffar Ahmed Mughal, 12, son of Abdul Gani resident of Waliward and injuries to three other passengers. All the injured were shifted to Hospital for treatment. Lar Police has registered a case in this regard.
Meanwhile, a motorcycle and a LP Truck bearing registration number JK02P/ 1444 collided at Kokagund, Veerinag in district Anantnag, resulting in injuries to the motorcyclist Irshad Ahmed Sofi resident of Pampore and the pillion Faheem Ahmed resident of Nowgam. Both the injured have been shifted to District Hospital, Anantnag for treatment. Dooru Police has registered a case in this regard.
In another accident, a tipper bearing registration number JK05B/3116 hit and injured a pedestrian Karnail Singh resident of Deedar Pora, Handwara at Jutty near Degree College, Baramulla. The injured was shifted to SMHS Srinagar for treatment. Baramulla police has registered a case in this regard.
