SRINAGAR, May 11: One person died and four others were injured in different road accidents across in the Valley.
Police spokesperson said a pillion Shama Akhter age about 30 years fell from an unknown motorcycle near Rampora, Kulgam and was seriously injured. She was shifted to hospital where she succumbed to her injuries. The body of deceased was handed over to her next of kins for last rites. Police Kulgam has registered a case and investigation is on.
Meanwhile, a vehicle hit and injured a 7 years old Anees Ansari son of Sartaj Ahmad resident of UP at present Cheeni Chowk, Anantnag, at Cheeni chowk, Anantnag. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment.
A Xylo vehicle met with an accident near Bijbehara on Jammu Srinagar National Highway, resulting in injuries to three persons who were travelling in the vehicle. All the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment. Bijbehara Police has registered a case in this regard.
