POONCH, Aug 28: A youth was killed while three other persons were injured in two different road accidents in Ajote and Timbra area in Poonch today.
Official sources said that a motorcycle, bearing registration number JK12B- 2549 met with an accident in between Ajote and Kusallian villages, in which a youth was killed while another injured. Both were taken to DH Poonch where one was declared as brought dead.
Deceased youth was identified as Amir Ali (15), son of Mushtaq Ahmed, while injured as Irshad Ahmed (18), son of Mohd Qadir, both residents of Degwar in Poonch.
Another accident of load carrier (Tempo) bearing registration number JK12B- 9710 met with an accident and fell into deep gorge in Timbra area of Tehsil Mandi in which two persons namely- Khursheed Ahmed, son of Mohd Hussain, resident of Qazi Mohra and Niaz Ahmed, son of Nazir Ahmed, resident of Kehnu in Poonch were injured, both were shifted to DH Poonch.
Medical Superintendent DH Poonch, Dr. Zulfiqar Ali said that in motorcycle accident one was brought dead whose body was handed over to family after legal formalities. The condition of another was stable. While in load carrier accident one injured was shiftet to GMC Rajouri for advanced treatment and other is under treatment at DH Poonch. Police has taken cognizance of both the accidents.
