UDHAMPUR, May 3: One person was killed and four others got injured in separate road mishaps across Udhampur district today.
A man died when his Santro car bearing registration number CH02AH-7353 collided with a truck near Dudher nullah, Dhar Road Udhampur. The deceased, identified as Ramesh Kumar son of Munshi Ram of Ossu Pakhali reportedly died on the spot.
Two youth sustained critical injuries when their car rolled down near Chenani. The victims, identified as Nitish Mangotra son of Kasturi Lal of Chenani and Narayan Joshi son of Om Parkash Joshi of Chenani, were shifted to District hospital Udhampur where doctors referred them to GMC Hospital Jammu in view of their serious condition.
A couple sustained minor injuries when a motor cycle, they were riding on, skidded off the road near Round Domail, Dhar Road Udhampur. The injured were identified as Sunita Devi and her husband Uttam Singh of Kagote Ramnagar.
In a collision between two trucks and a Santro car near Kud, a middle aged man sustained injuries. His identity was established as Farooq Ahmed son of Abdul Razaq of Anantnag.
