JAMMU/SRINAGAR/ LEH, Feb 10: Jammu and Kashmir today reported one Corona fatality and 45 new COVID cases.
Only six new cases were reported in the Jammu region—five of them in Jammu and one in Doda district. Rest eight districts didn’t report any fresh positive cases.
Five persons recovered from the virus including three in Rajouri and one each in Doda and Reasi districts.
Jammu region now has 51680 Corona cases. Of them, 119 are active positives while 50839 have recovered from the virus and there have been 722 casualties.
Meanwhile, 39 people tested positive in Kashmir for the COVID-19 today.
One person who was suffering from COVID-19 died today taking the death toll in Kashmir to 1223.
Those who tested positive today include Srinagar which reported 23 cases, Baramulla 2, Budgam 4, Pulwama 1, Kupwara 1, Anantnag 2, Bandipora 1, Ganderbal 3, Kulgam 1 and Shopian 1.
The number of positive cases in Kashmir division have reached 73,372 including 71,663 recoveries and 1,223 deaths.
The total number of active cases in Jammu and Kashmir are 605 including 486 from Kashmir division.
With 32 more recoveries, the tally of total recoveries in Jammu and Kashmir has reached 122,502, which is 97.95 percent of the total cases.
Meanwhile, the UT of Ladakh today reported four new Corona positive cases, all in Leh district.
Ladakh now has 60 active positive cases.
