UDHAMPUR, Dec 17: One person was killed and another injured when a Tipper rolled down into gorge near Roun Domail in district Udhampur today.
Reports said a Tipper was on its way from Dhar Road side to Udhampur and when it reached near Roun Domail, driver lost control over the vehicle and it rolled down into a deep gorge.
Police and locals of the area rushed to the spot and took the injured persons to District Hospital Udhampur. One of them was declared as dead in hospital. The deceased has been identified as Romesh Kumar, son of Prem Chand of village Krowa in Udhampur. The injured identified as Ashok Kumar of Roun Domail was undergoing treatment in District hospital. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
