SRINAGAR, Mar 29: One person died and another was injured in different road accidents across the Kashmir valley.
Police spokesperson said, a Bus bearing registration number JK01D/3171 hit and injured a Cyclist Abdul Rehman Ahanger, age about 45 years, son of Ghulam Ahmad resident of Babapora, Zoonimar at Ali Jan road, Soura, Srinagar. The injured was shifted to SKIMS, Soura for treatment, where he succumbed to his injuries. “A case has been registered in this regard,” police said.
In other accident, a Motorcycle without registration number driven by Umar Shafi Najar, son of Mohammad Shafi, resident of Pethkal Lolpora, Kunzer hit and injured a woman Farzi Begum, age 70 years, wife of Late Ali Mohammad Bhat, resident of Takaya Batpora near Dobiwan, Baramulla. The injured has been shifted to Sub District Hospital Magam for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
