UDHAMPUR, Aug 20: One person died and another got injured when a Rata Mobile, in which they were traveling, turned turtle on the Bye Pass National Highway near Battal Ballian here today.
The deceased has been identified as Jyoti Sharma, son of T R Sharma of Rown Domail. The injured, namely Mohd Shafi, son of Habib-ullah of Berinag, has been admitted in Udhampur hospital.
The Tata Mobile, bearing registration number JK16-6471, was on its way from Srinagar to Jammu when it met with the accident resulting into serious injuries to two passengers. Locals rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to District Hospital Udhampur where doctors declared one of them as brought dead.
