KATHUA, Dec 29: A truck driver was killed while another seriously injured when two vehicles collided near Kathua this evening.
A police spokesman said that Bus No. PB03AF/8131 and truck bearing registration number PB06K/ 9786 met head -on -collision on the outskirts of Kathua town this evening. While truck driver succumbed to injuries while being shifted to hospital, the injured bus driver, Jasbir Singh of Bathinda has been admitted to District Hospital, Kathua. The deceased truck driver was identified as Bodh Raj, resident of Gurdaspur, Punjab. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
