RAMBAN, Apr 6: One person died due to cloud burst in Nowgam Pogal area, falling under the jurisdiction of Ramsoo police station.
As per police sources, a man identified as Firdous Ahmed Sohail (32), son of Mohammad Hussain Sohail, a resident of Chipkan Pogal was on his way to his relatives’ house at Nowgam Pogal, when cloud burst and he died on the spot in Nowgam Pogal area of tehsil Banihal.
On getting information, police rushed to the spot and after completing legal formalities, the body was handed over to family members for last rites.
