POONCH, Aug 3: One person was killed in car accident in Poonch area late last evening.
Official sources said that an information was received at Police Station Poonch that one vehicle, WagonR bearing Reg No JK02AG 3397, on its way from Kanuyian towards Poonch city, driven by one Manjeet Singh (52), son of Gurjeet Singh, resident of Purani Poonch, Ward No 16, met with accident near SK Bridge after its driver lost control over the vehicle.
The vehicle fell down the road causing serious injuries to its driver. With head injuries he was shifted to District Hospital Poonch where doctors declared him brought dead. A case FIR No. 124/2023 U/S 279/304-A/IPC was registered in this connection by police.
