RAJOURI, May 19: One person was killed after he was hit by a car in Nowshera area of district Rajouri late last evening.
The deceased has been identified as Amarjeet Singh, son of Bhukhu Ram, resident of Chowki village in Nowshera. Reports said mishap took place during late last evening when Amerjeet was walking along the road side. He was hit by car/van bearing registration No. JK02AM/4111 in Ghari area of Nowshera.
With serious injuries the victim was shifted to SDH Nowshera by his legal heirs and after preliminary treatment at SDH Nowshera, he was referred to GMC Rajouri for further medical treatment where he succumbed to injuries. The police registered a case FIR No. 92/22 u/s 279/337 IPC at PS Nowshera.
