JAMMU/SRINAGAR/LEH, Feb 28: One person died of COVID-19 while 58 others tested positive and 62 recovered from the virus in Jammu and Kashmir today.
All 11 fresh cases in the Jammu region were reported from Jammu district while rest nine districts didn’t record any new case.
Nine persons recovered from the virus in Jammu including six in Udhampur and three in Jammu district.
Jammu region now has 51993 Corona cases. Among them, 207 are active positives while 51061 have recovered from the virus and there have been 725 casualties in the region.
Meanwhile, 47 people tested positive for COVID-19, while one person died of Corona in Valley today.
Srinagar recorded 28 cases, Baramulla 5, Budgam 1, Pulwama 2, Kupwara 3, Anantnag 2, Bandipora 2, Ganderbal 2 and Shopian 2.
Meanwhile, no new Coronavirus cases were reported from the UT of Ladakh today. The UT now has 53 active positive cases.
