JAMMU, May 4: A man belonging to Doda district today died of poisoning here at Government Medical College and Hospital.
According to a police spokesman, one Makhan Singh son of Shiv Ram, a resident of Doda, was admitted here at GMCH on May 3 after family members found him in unconscious condition at his room.
He said that the man died tonight at GMCH and his body was shifted to mortuary room of the hospital for post mortem. “According to the doctors, it is a case of poisoning. But it is not clear whether he consumed the poison/some poisonous substance deliberately or mistakenly”, the spokesman said, adding the concerned police had taken cognizance of the matter.
