JAMMU, Nov 20: One person died while as three other individuals, including an SPO, sustained injuries in separate road accidents here today.
A police official said that one Dipak (32) son of Ram Chander of Mai Kharagpur, Uttar Pradesh at present Alpha Machail, Gajansoo, fell from a moving tractor at Gajansoo, resulting in injuries to him.
He was taken to Government Medical College Jammu, where doctors declared him as dead on arrival, the police official said.
The body of the deceased has been shifted to the mortuary of the hospital for conducting the post-mortem examination while a case under the relevant sections of the law has been registered at concerned police station and further investigation taken up.
At Gumpul Sobka Link Road, the police official said an SPO Pawan Kumar (52) son of Sarban Dass of Ambaran Gharota, presently posted at DPL Jammu, sustained injuries when his motorcycle slipped off the road.
One Amit Khajuria (44) son of Mohan Lal Khajuria of Ghou Manhasa Jammu sustained injuries at Ring Road in Phallain Mandal area after his motorcycle slipped off the road.
At Sungal Akhnoor, one Anaya (6) daughter of Ashwani Kumar of Sungal Akhnoor, sustained injuries after she was hit by a motorcycle.
All the injured have been hospitalised while cases under the relevant sections of the law stood registered at concerned police stations and further investigations taken up.
