UDHAMPUR, Apr 6: In a tragic accident, a truck cleaner was drowned while taking bath in Birmha Nullah at by-pass National Highway in Battal Balian.
He has been identified as Mohammad Latif (20) son of Mohammad Bashir resident of Loran Mandi, Poonch.
A friend accompanying the cleaner raised an alarm and called police which started a search operation under the supervision of inspector Vijay Choudhary, SHO PS Udhampur and body of the deceased was fished out and was shifted to District Hospital Udhampur for post-mortem.
Police has registered a case in this connection and started investigation.
