SAMBA, June 1: One person was electrocuted when he was trying to hook the electric wire on the roof of his house late last night at Vijaypur in district Samba.
On receiving the information early in this morning Vijaypur Police reached the spot and took the body in their custody and sent it to Government Community Health Centre Ramgarh for postmortem.
Deceased was identified as Gurmail Singh, son of Ganga Singh resident of Kangra (HP). Police said Gurmail was residing at present at Gurha Morh Vijaypur in Samba district. The body was handed over to its family members after legal formalities and Vijaypur police has also registered the case in this connection.
