SUNDERBANI, July 19: The people of village Kalideh caught a thief red-handed when he was breaking the donation box in Baba Nar Singh Temple, Charnot and handed him over to the Sunderbani police.
This incident took place at around 2 pm. The sound of breaking iron grills started coming from Baba Nar Singh Temple, Charnot. Then some people of the village gathered and went to Baba Nar Singh Temple and saw a man breaking the donation box of the temple.
Seeing the people, the thief tried to run away but people surrounded him and caught after a hot chase. He was thrashed and later handed over to police. The Police arrested the thief.
He was identified as Ravi Kumar, son of Bansi Lal, resident of Mawa Tehsil, Sunderbani in district Rajouri. Police have registered a case and started investigation.
