RAMBAN, Oct 9: Under the supervision of SSP Ramban, Kulbir Singh, Police here today took cognizance and arrested a youth for posting objectionable contents on social media platforms.
In this regard Police has registered an FIR with number 129 of 2024 at Police Station, Batote under relevant Sections of the law.
SSP Ramban said that all social media platforms are under constant watch and all the posts and comments are being monitored very keenly by the Cyber Cell of Ramban Police.
He said that strict action will be taken against those who post anything provocative and spread hatred.
District Police Ramban has appealed to the people to maintain harmony and desist from using social media platforms to spread hatred which might vitiate the peaceful atmosphere in the district.
