KATHUA, Jan 24: One person was arrested by police in Kathua District for posting provocative and objectionable content on social media platforms.
“We’ve arrested one person and booked him under the relevant sections of the law for posting objectionable content on social media,” a police official said.
He said Cyber Police have been continuously monitoring all social media activities and as such people have been advised to refrain from posting any derogatory comment as action under law would be taken against them if anything objectionable is noticed by the police.
