KISHTWAR, Jan 17: Police today arrested a man for allegedly posting derogatory comments on social media.
Responding to complaint filed by a journalist, SSP Kishtwar, Khalil Poswal directed cops and an FIR with number 17/2024 was registered at Police Station Kishtwar in this regard under relevant sections of the law.
The Cyber Cell of Police was immediately tasked with tracing the perpetrator after which a successful raid was conducted by Inspector Parvaiz Ahmed Khanday, SHO Kishtwar with his team in which the accused Sunil Kumar, resident of Cherji area, Kishtwar was arrested.
SSP Kishtwar, Khalil Poswal has warned all the people to refrain from engaging themselves in illegal activities on social media platforms.
