BHADERWAH, Mar 8: A man was held today with illicit liquor from the jurisdiction of police station Bhaderwah.
According to a police spokesman, a man identified as Ram Parsad son of Suram Chand, resident of Chinchora (Chinta), who runs a barber shop was intercepted at a police naka at Bhallra and during his personal search, 40 nips of country made liquor were recovered from his possession.
He said that the accused was arrested and recovered illicit liquor seized while a case FIR No 20/17 under Section 48 A Excise Act registered at police station Bhaderwah.
The arrest and recovery was made by Inspector Jatinder Sambyal, SHO, police station Bhaderwah, under the supervision of SDPO Bhadarwah, Brijesh Sharma, Additional SP Bhadarwah, Shahzad Salaria and SSP Doda, Mohd Shabir.
