One held with 135 g charas, cash

JAMMU, Jan 11: Narwal Police has recovered 135 grams of charas and a cash amount of Rs 95,500 from a drug peddler.
“While on patrolling duty at Narwal area, a team of Police Post Narwal rounded up a suspect namely Bilal Ahmed Dar son of Bashir Ahmed Dar resident of Hamja Colony (Karan Nagar, Batmaloo, Srinagar) and recovered 135 grams of charas and a cash amount of Rs 95,500 from his possession, on search of his belongings,” a police spokesman said.
He said a case FIR Number 15/23 U/S 8/20/27A was registered in this connection at Police Station Bahu Fort and the accused arrested. Intensive questioning is going on to know about his other accomplices in the crime, the spokesman said, adding, further investigation of the case was going on.
