One held with 2 Pak SIM cards

POONCH, Sept 12: A local along with two Pakistani mobile phone SIM cards was arrested in the frontier district of Mendhar in Poonch district.
The accused was identified as Amir Hussain Shah, son of Sarwar Hussain Shah of Dharna, under the jurisdiction of Mendhar Police Station.
Following specific information that the accused was possessing and using two Pak SIM cards, a Police party, led by SHO Mendhar Anzir Mir and SDPO Mendhar Shahid Naeem, raided house of Amir Hussain and arrested him, last evening. Police has also seized the SIM cards and registered a case against the accused under Section 15/16/39/38 Prevention of Unlawful Activities Act and Enemy Act of RPC.
As the Police is finding out how Shah got the Pakistani SIM cards and whether he has links with any militant outfit and how he was using the seized SIM cards, preliminary investigations revealed that the accused had gone to Pakistan in 2004 and returned to this side after eight years in 2012.
He had entered into Indian territory after crossing the LoC fence in 2012 and was arrested by the security forces then. A case in this connection was also registered and later he was bailed out.
