JAMMU, Aug 3: One person was held today with 48 pouches of illicit liquor in Sidhra area of city outskirts.
According to a police spokesperson, a police team from police post Sidhra arrested a person with 48 pouches of illicit liquor this morning during a naka point at Sidhra. The accused has been identified as Rajinder Kumar son of Bansi Lal, a resident of Tutan di Khui.
The arrest and recovery was made by a police team from police post Sidhra headed by Incharge, police post Sidhra, Noor Ahmed, led by SDPO Nagrota, Bharat Bhushan Sharma under the supervision of Incharge, SSP Jammu, Rajiv Pandey.
In this connection, a case under 48A Excise act has been registered at concerned police station.
