REASI, May 4: In the drive against drug abuse, district police here today conducted surprise checking near Bus Stand Reasi and arrested a notorious drug peddler.
The drug peddler has been identified as Mohd Iqbal son of Abdul Aziz of Malas at present Gunn Reasi.
Cops recovered 70 gm Charas like substance from his possession.
A case U/S 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Reasi in this regard and investigation started.
A handout of the police department stated that it is the 17th accused arrested in 13th case since the special drive against drug abuse was launched under the command of SSP Reasi, Shailender Singh.
