RAMBAN, Apr 12: Police here today under the guidance of SSP Ramban, Anuj Kumar arrested a narcotics smuggler and recovered Charas-like substance from him.
On a specific tip cops from Police Station Ramban established a checkpoint along with a Magistrate and intercepted Mohd Younis, son of Abdul Salam Sheikh, resident of Ward No. 1 Ramban while he was moving in an auto (load carrier) with Registration Number JK19-2133 and 115 gm Charas-like substance was recovered from him.
A case in FIR No. 78/2024 U/S 8/20 NDPS Act was registered in this regard and PSI Shiv Dutt was assigned the investigation.
