JAMMU, July 27: One person along with 6 gram of Chitta (Heroin like substance) was arrested today by Bus Stand police.
A team of Bus Stand police led by SHO Inspector Deepankar Singh during patrolling/checking near entry gate of general Bus Stand Jammu seized 6 gm of Heroin like substance from a man namely Sunil Kumar (32) son of Vijay Kumar, resident of H.No. 498, near Shiv Mandir, Sarwal. The accused is an auto driver by profession.
In this regard, a case FIR number 49/2021 under Sections 8/21/22/ of NDPS was registered in police station Bus stand Jammu and investigation set into motion.
During preliminary investigation, it came to fore that the accused person is a professional drug smuggler and was supplying drugs among the youth.
