JAMMU, Dec 20: Police here today arrested a narcotic peddler with heroin.
A Police Party from Police Station Miran Sahib led by SHO, Inspector Zaheer Mushtaq under the supervision of SDPO R.S Pura, Surinder Singh and under the overall supervision of SP Hqrs, Ramnish Gupta laid a Naka at Bagh-E-Bhour Miran Sahib.
During checking of vehicles and pedestrians cops stopped and checked a suspect who tried to flee but was apprehended and disclosed his name as Sunny Singh son of Charan Singh resident of Chatha Pind, Jammu. During his search 4 gram heroin (Chitta) like substance was recovered.
In this regard a case in FIR No. 171/2022 U/S 8/21/22/60 NDPS Act was registered and investigation started.
