RAMBAN, Dec 30: Police here today under the supervision of SSP Ramban, Kulbir Singh arrested a narcotic smuggler and recovered heroin from his possession.
Cops from Police Station Ramsoo, while on a Naka checking duty intercepted a pedestrian identified as Arif Javed, son of Javed Iqbal Malik, resident of Banihal, Ramban and during his physical checking found eight gram heroin which he was carrying.
A case in FIR No.135 of 2024 under relevant Sections of NDPS Act was registered in this regard at Police Station Ramsoo and investigation started.
