JAMMU, Mar 10: Kanachak police has arrested a man with some heroin like substance.
“Today at about 3: 30 PM, a police party from police station Kanachak laid a naka at Sua No. 1 and during checking and apprehended one person namely Imran Khan (28) son of Mohd Rashid of Saaj (Thanamandi, Rajouri) with 20 gram of chitta (heroin like substance),” a police official said.
He said a case FIR number 48/20 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered in this connection at police station Kanachak and further investigation initiated.
The arrest and recovery was made by a police party led by SHO police station Kanachak Inspector Ravi Singh Parihar under the supervision of SDPO Kosheen Koul and SP Rural Suram Singh and overall supervision of SSP Jammu Shridhar Patil.
