UDHAMPUR, May 10: Police here today recovered 10 gm Heroin (Chitta), one weighing machine and Rs. 20,000 in cash from a narcotic smuggler.
A police patrolling party led by Inspector Chanchal Singh, SHO Police Station Udhampur under the supervision of Sahil Mahajan, DySP Hqrs while patrolling at Subash Stadium checked one Akhilesh Sharma alias Leshi son of Vipin Kumar of Ward 2.
During his search, 10 gm Heroin was found after which he was arrested.
In this connection, a case has been registered U/S 8/21/22/27-A NDPS Act at Police Station Udhampur and investigation started.
