DODA, Jan 15: Police here in Bhaderwah arrested a man with huge quantity of illicit liquor.
Police sources informed that through reliable sources they came to know that one Ram Prasad son of Suram Chand resident of Chinchora Chinta Bhaderwah who was habitual of selling illicit liquor was carrying the same and moving towards Chinta Bhaderwah for selling it.
Acting swiftly after receipt of the information, a Police party from Police Post Bhalra headed by PSI Bhupinder Singh, Incharge Police Post Bhalra apprehended the liquor peddler at Balote Bhaderwah and 37 bottles of JK Special Whisky were recovered from his possession.
In this regard, a case in FIR No. 03/2023 under relevant sections has been registered at Police Station Bhadarwah and investigations started.
