RAJOURI, Apr 10: A villager was injured after he was hit by a car in Majakote area of district Poonch today.
Official sources said that a Swift D’sire car, bearing registration No JK 12 C/ 8200, driven by Ragval Singh, son of Parmatam Singh from Poonch, when reached Manjakote near SDH Chowk hit one person namely- Mohd Inthakib, son of Mohd Farooq, a resident of Hayat Pura, Manjakote.
With serious injuries, the victim was shifted to PHC Manjakote by SHO Manjakote Inspector Manpreet Singh. He was later referred to GMC Rajouri for further treatment. In this regard a case FIR No 30/2024 U/S 279/337 IPC has been registered at this Manjakote Police Station. The police has arrested the driver and seized vehicle.
