SAMBA, Apr 13: One person was injured after the vehicle he was driving skidded off the road and fell into a gorge near Jamoda area of Samba today.
The mishap occurred at Samba -Mansar- Dhar road when the vehicle bearing Registration Number JK21E- 9447 moving towards Samba from Mansar, reached near Jamoda and suddenly the driver lost the control over the vehicle and it skidded off the road and fell into a gorge.
Some people immediately informed to the police. After receipt the information the police reached on the spot and started rescue operation. Policemen and the people pulled out the driver from the car who was critically injured. He was shifted to District Hospital Samba for treatment.
The injured has been identified as, Randeep Singh, son of Kuldeep Singh resident of Sangwali Mandi Samba.
Samba police has taken cognizance of the matter and started further investigations.
