RAMBAN, Dec 15: One person was killed, while another was injured when the car they were traveling in skidded off the road and plunged into gorge near Tringla area, falling under the jurisdiction of Batote Police Station.
The ill-fated vehicle bearing registration number JK19-4807 was on its way from Ladwal More to Batote, when the driver lost control over the vehicle and it plunged into gorge near Tringla, resulting into on the spot and injuries to one another.
After getting information, police team rushed to the spot and shifted the injured person to CHC Batote, from where he was later referred to GMC Jammu for advanced treatment.
The deceased has been identified as Teerath Singh, son of Mulkh Raj of Sanasar, while the injured has been identified as Pankaj, a resident of Billawar.
Batote police has taken cognizance in this regards.
