One killed, 10 hurt in accidents

JAMMU, Nov 23: One person was killed while at least ten others were injured in three separate road accidents  in Sunderbani and Reasi area today.
A police spokesman said that one Joginder Singh, son of  Mangat Ram, resident of  Kangri village in Sunderbani was seriously injured after his tractor trolley rolled down into a gorge at Beri Pattan today. The injured, driving tractor-trolley, was rushed to Sunderbani hospital where doctors declared him as brought dead. His body after postmortem was handed over to the family by police.
Meanwhile, seven persons were injured after a bus overturned on the road at Fandaar village in Reasi today.
The mishap took place when the bus bearing registration No. JK02F/2365 was on way to Reasi from Lamsora. The driver lost control near Fandaar village en-route Reasi and the vehicle  turned turtle on the road. All the seven injured persons were shifted to District hospital Reasi. Their condition was said to be stable. Some of them were discharged.
In a coalition between a scooter and motor-cycle at Aghar Jitto on Katra- Reasi road today, three persons were injured this afternoon. The injured have been identified as Manik Sharma, son of Rattan Lal, resident of Akhri, Vijay Kumar, son of Mohan Lal, resident of village Ghun and Gurbachan Singh, son of Lakhmi Ram, resident of Aghar Jitto. The injured have been referred to GMC Jammu from Katra hospital. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
