DODA, May 30: One person was killed while ten others were injured in accidents, here today.
As per reports, an Alto K-10 car was on its way from Changa to Soti, when the driver lost control over the vehicle and it plunged into gorge near Gangal, resulting into injuries to three persons.
On getting information, police team rushed to the spot and shifted the injured persons to hospital where doctors declared one of the injured identified as Abdul Majeed, son of Abdul Rashid of Bhatyas.
The injured persons identified as Din Mohd Khan, son of Gulam Khan of Sowara Chilly and Reyaz Ahmed Mir, son of Din Mohammad Mir of Bhudli Teh Chilly were undergoing treatment at District Hospital Doda, when last repots came in.
A case under relevant sections has been registered at Gandoh Police Station and investigation started.
Meanwhile, eight persons were injured when the Eco car they were traveling in plunged into gorge near Bharat area of this district.
The injured persons were shifted to District Hospital Doda for treatment.
The injured have been identified as Riaz Ahmed, son of Liaqat Ali of Bhagwah, Muntazar Ilyas, son of Iliyas Hussain of Punda Dhar, Burhan, son of Mohammad Amin of Budbhagi, Bashir Ahmed, son of Ghulam Moahmmad of Shuryann, Amiza Banoo, daughter of Manzoor Ahmed of Bhelli, Anzar Hussain, son of Manzoor Ahmed of Bhelli, Shafiya Bano, daughter of Ghulam Hassan of Punda Dhar and Arsal Manzoor, son of Manzoor Ahmed of Bhelli.
A case under relevant sections has been registered at Police Station Doda and investigation started.
