SRINAGAR, Apr 27: A minor was killed while 16 others were injured in different road accidents across the Valley.
A police spokesman said an L P passenger vehicle bearing registration number JK03B- 0753 hit a six year-old girl identified as Ainab Ashiq near Tulbagh in Pampore area of Pulwama district, resulting in her on spot death. Police have registered a case in this regard, he said.
The spokesman said a Tata 407 vehicle JK05D-6254 turned turtle at Kuchumukam village of Chandoosa area of Baramulla district, resulting in injuries to 15 passengers. All the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment. Police have registered a case in this regard.
The spokesman a Wagon-R bearing registration number JK09A-5156 hit and injured a pedestrian namely Shamima Begum at Batpora village of Kralpora in Kupwara district. “The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment. Police have registered a case in this regard,” he said.
