JAMMU, Nov 28: Four persons were injured when a car rammed into Toll Plaza Safety Wall at Lakhanpur, this morning.
The accident took place at Lakhanpur Tool Plaza when the car bearing Registration No JK08E 5953 hit with a divider and rammed into the safety wall after its driver lost the control over the vehicle.
The four persons travelling in the car got seriously injured. They were shifted to District Hospital, Kathua where the doctor declared one person as brought dead. He was identified as Bhushan Kumar, 40, S / o Khushi Ram R / o Gura Mundian . The other three persons injured were identified as Dharampal, 42, S / o. Jog Raj R / o Gura Mundian, Neelam Devi, 53, W/ O, Surinder Singh of Akhnoor and Veena Devi, 57 W / O, Kartar Singh. They are under treatment at District Hospital Kathua. The Lakhanpur Police Station has registered a case under relevant sections of the law and started investigation.
