KATHUA, Nov 12: One person was killed and three members of a family were seriously injured when the car in which they were travelling collided head on with a safety wall at Parnalla on Billawer road today.
The seriously injured were referred to Government Medical College & Hospital (GMCH), Jammu after given first aid at Sub District Hospital Billawer. The accident took place when car bearing Registration No JK08G 7940 on Billawer road collided with safety wall of a small bridge at Parnalla after the driver lost the control on the vehicle.
All the seriously injured were shifted to Billawer Hospital where doctor declared one of them as brought dead. The deceased was identified as Omparkesh, son Dhani Ram, resident of Sheetal Nagri, Basholi. The injured are identified as Ram Saroop, Aarti Abrol and Lalli Abrol , all residents of Sheetal Nagar, Basholi. Police registered a case under FIR No 127/2020 U/S279, 337, 304A IPC at Police Station Billawar and started investigation into the matter.
