One killed, 3 injured in road accidents

SRINAGAR, July 19: One person died while as three others were injured in separate road accidents in Kashmir valley.

Reports said that an unidentified vehicle hit a mentally challenged person namely Irshad Ahmad Rather aged 35 years, son of Ghulam Mohi-u-din resident of Badmulla-Sheeri, Baramulla, resulting in his on spot death. A case has been registered in this regard.

A motorcycle bearing registration number JK02DR/0882 collided with a truck bearing registration number JK02Q/4432 at Herpora-Nainil, Mattan in Anantnag district. The mishap resulted in injuries to the motorcyclist. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment.

A Winger bearing registration number JK06/3355 hit a motorcycle bearing registration number JK01Q/4150 at Boulevard Road, Srinagar, resulting in injuries to the Motorcyclist Shabir Ahmad Dar son of Abdul Majeed resident of Suthrashahi, Srinagar and two pillions. The injured have been shifted to hospital for treatment.
