One killed, 3 injured in road accidents

SRINAGAR, Aug 7: One person died while as three others were injured in separate road accidents across Kashmir valley.
Reports said that a platform vehicle bearing registration number JK13/2500 skidded off the road near Sona Banjar-Rajpora, Pulwama, resulting in injuries to driver of the vehicle identified as Reyaz Ahmad Shah aged 35 years and his brother Zaim Shah, son of Aijaz Ahmad Shah residents of Sangerwani. Both the injured were shifted to Hospital for treatment where Reyaz succumbed to his injuries. The body of deceased was handed over to his relatives for last rites.
A Tata Indica bearing registration number JK04A/3340 while on way from Srinagar to Sopore hit and injured a pedestrian Mushtaq Ahmad Ganie, aged 42 years, son of Abdul Ahad resident Wezar Kreeri at Sangrama Chowk. The injured was shifted to Sub District Hospital Sopore where from he was referred to SKIMS Soura, for further treatment.
A Tavera bearing registration number JK03B/9068 while on way from Srinagar to Anantnag skidded off the road near Sangam bridge and fell in Jhelum, near Bijbehara, Anantnag. The driver of the vehicle Muhammad Yousuf Itoo son of Ghulam Muhammad resident of Doru Anantnag was rescued and shifted to hospital for treatment.
