REASI, Mar 22: In separate road accidents, here today, a Scooty rider was knocked to death by a truck while three persons were injured in collision of two cars.
Reports said that in an accident at Kanda area of Ransoo, truck (JK02CG- 0263) hit a Scooty (JK11E- 2761) resulting into serious injuries to the Scooty rider. He was shifted to PHC Bharakh and then referred to PHC Pouni for treatment. In view of his critical condition, he was further referred to GMC Hospital Jammu. However, he succumbed to his injuries on way to Jammu.
The deceased was identified as Mohan Lal (55 years), son of Prabhu Dayal, resident of Ransoo, Shivkhori, tehsil Pouni, district Reasi.
Meanwhile, three persons were injured in collision of two cars coming from opposite directions at Aghar Jitto area on Katra – Reasi road. The injured were shifted to CHC Katra for treatment.
They were identified as Vaishno Devi (55 years), wife of Chanchal Singh, resident of Kotli, Bhaga, her son Virender Singh (35 years) and Neha (32 years) wife of Chandan Singh, resident of Kotli Manotrian, district Reasi.
