Srinagar, Apr 25: Police today said a person was killed while three others were injured in different road accidents in Valley.
A police spokesman said an unknown motorcycle hit and injured a pedestrian Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din Wani at Mazhama in Magam area of Budgam district.
“The injured was shifted to Sub District Hospital Magam for treatment where doctors declared him brought dead. After completion of legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to his next of his kin for last rites. Police have registered a case in this regard,” he said.
The spokesman said a motorcycle bearing registration number JK22-0625 hit and injured a minor girl namely Zaffar Bania at Herpora in Shopian district. “The injured was shifted to SKIMS Soura Srinagar for treatment. Police have registered a case in this regard,” he said.
The spokesman said an Auto Rickshaw bearing registration number JK18-1312 hit and injured a minor boy namely Farhan Mehraj at Yaripora in Kulgam district. “The injured was shifted to Bone and Joint Hospital, Srinagar for treatment,” he said, adding a case has been registered in this regard.
The spokesman said that an unknown motorcycle hit and injured a pedestrian namely Mohammad Amin Bhat at Arigatno in Devsar area of Kulgam district. The injured was shifted to District Hospital Kulgam for treatment and a case has been registered in this regard.
