UDHAMPUR, Sept 13: One passenger died and three others were injured when a bus rammed into a road side retaining wall at Chobu Nallah near Meer, Panchari, here today.
The passenger bus, bearing registration number JK14C-9447, was on its way from Galiote to Udhampur at Chobu Nallah near Meer, Panchari when driver lost control over the vehicle resulting into the accident. Locals rushed to the spot and shifted the injured persons to Primary Health Center (PHC) Panchari where one of them was declared as brought dead.
The deceased was identified as Gaami (55), son of Alaf Din of Galute Panchari. The injured were identified as Sham Lal (40) son of Meecho of Kati, Lado Ram (65), son of Kablu Ram of Thuli and Romesh Chander (42), son of Munshi Ram of Panchari.
