JAMMU, Feb 5: One person was killed while three others injured in separate road mishaps in city and its outskirts.
According to a police spokesperson, a man identified as Bashir Ahmed son of Raj Mohd, a resident of Mahore (Reasi), who yesterday suffered critically injuries after fall from a moving bus near TCP Nagrota, today succumbed to his injuries during treatment at Government Medical College and Hospital Jammu. The body of the deceased was handed over to his legal heirs after conducting autopsy.
A woman was injured when the auto she was travelling in collided with parapet at Canal Road. She has been identified as Savita Sapori (38) wife of Om Prakash, a resident of Anand Nagar.
A person also suffered injuries in a collision between a bike and a truck at Bawe Talab. The injured has been identified as bike rider, Dilharan (53), son of Mangal Singh of Bawe Talab.
At Gandhi Nagar near Green Belt Park, an auto collided with a car. In the mishap, Dilip Sharma (40) son of Chander Prakash of RS Pura received injuries.
All the injured were shifted to GMCH for treatment. In all the cases, the concerned police have taken cognizance.
