SRINAGAR, Mar 13: One person was killed and four others injured in a gas cylinder blast in Wadwan village of district Budgam today.
The blast occurred in the house of Mushtaq Ahmad Bhat of Wadwan resulting in the death of one person and injuries to others in the blast.
The body was charred beyond recognition in the incident and was later identified as Omar Malik son of Mohammad Sultan Malik, resident of Wadwan.
The building was completely damaged in which Mushtaq Ahmad and his family members were injured.
Soon after the incident, the nearby people assembled, evacuated the family members and took them to nearby hospital for treatment where the condition of the injured persons is said to be stable. They were later taken to SKIMS hospital for treatment.
